Kozhi Curry ( Chicken in spicy gravy )

Chicken: 1 kg Chicken masala: 4 tbsp Onions sliced : 1 cup Ginger: 2 inch long piece Garlic: 3 Green chillies: 4 Clean chicken pieces and marinate in 2 tbsp chicken masala and salt. Make ginger-garlic-green chillies paste and fry it with onions. Add chicken masala and fry a bit. Now add chicken pieces. Serve hot with appam.

Kaya Varuthathu ( Banana Chips )

The raw banana after removing the jacket is kept in a vessel with water. It is then sliced into thin wafers. The wafers are then deep fried in a huge wok of vegetable oil.
